All great music but the players and students don’t want to hear that any more than you want them to play 20’s flapper music. Times and tastes change and it’s not about us anymore…sadly…but such is life.

If they think this is music that they hear they are either totally incapable of knowing what music is or have never been exposed to REAL MUSIC. It's time they were EDUCATED !!

Yeah…I’m 56 and my kids are all still in their 20’s…so when we get together I hear some of the new stuff. Some of it is indeed horrible, but I think there are some talented musicians singers still out there. Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Lady Gaga all very talented for instance even though I would never even give them a listen if my kids weren’t playing them. Interestingly…my youngest son (21) loves all the artists and songs someone listed above. We were on a drive the other day and he played a who’s who of 60’s and 70’s rock and folk. So, there’s still some younger folks who appreciate that era…

Just being honest: None of the music by those artists will get players hype before the game. Is it the music you named enjoyable? Absolutely. But the times for those artists, as I’m sure someone has already said, has passed.

I hear ya but these kids love the rap and pop music. I like some of it too and I’m fine with it at the football games. The music I don’t like is some of the music played at the baseball games. The chicken song and corny country songs etc.

I've heard September by Earth. Wind and Fire played before. That's a perfect song for an early fall football game.
Any hoot the music is not for the papa's and the grannies.. It's what the student athletes and recruits want to hear that counts.
