I had not seen this before about McKenzie Clark's family history (sorry if it has been previously posted)!

"My mom and dad have done an amazing job of teaching me to be the woman I am today. It doesn’t matter where you come from. It doesn’t matter what you look like. It doesn’t matter if you are blood or not, we are a family. Family to me is unconditional love for a stranger you are willing to get on a plane for. True unconditional love is how I would describe the Clark family."

She is a great player and I think is going for pro softball now. Great story. All involved have done a great job raising a neat person.I think I heard she drove in from Texas to see the regional in Clemson

Clark is playing for the Volts in the new AUSL professional softball league

The AUSL (Athletics Unlimited Softball League) has 4 teams that will travel and play at different venues across the nation (looks like 10 locations and nothing close). The Volts GM is Cat Osterman. My understanding is that next season they will choose a home base.
