Fair point. It's not that difficult to get a 1,000 yard rusher. Rod McDowell achieved that, due not just to his talent and effort but the fact that Boyd was rushing and throwing the ball to Sammy and Nuk at the same time. A game breaker would be great but a solid, one cut runner will be able to get the job done I think.

I'd rather we go after a better prospect at other positions than grab whatever RB we can find willing to take a scholarship at this point. Its bad we are having to make that choice but when you only go after a couple of guys you don't really have any fallback options.

as long as we continue to pull in great O Linemen, our running back recruiting should improve, it would have been nice to get one stud

Plus Gideon is a true frosh and supposedly the real deal. EZ is only in his second year. We could use another one though. Sucks Henderson couldn't pull it together. We will need a couple in 2027 for sure.
