Freshman starter already getting hit hard. Freshman starter starting Saturday game. Bakich has a tough job ahead.

That's the reason he's going with all those young guys this season, to have some decent pitching next season with game experience!!!

We all have hope, but also know this is a developmental year. If coach is as good as we hope, this is a year to develop what we have, weed out those that can't play at thos level, recruit better talent and get better moving forward. This team will improve as the year goes, and we need to appreciate the small steps. A winning season will be a successful year. That's the reality of where we are right now. Be patient.
