Auburn 48-37-1. They would say they "own" Auburn, but the series is a lot closer than that. But, who has more Overall Number One Picks in the NFL Draft? The answer is a surprise, at least it was to me.
AUBURN has had FOUR #1 Overall picks:
Scam Newton (2011), Aundray Bruce (1988), Bo Jackson (1986), and Tucker Frederickson (1965)
And, here's the surprise, Bama has only ever had ONE, and that was all the way back in 1948.

Surprised that Awbarn is within 11 wins all time. One thing does stand out if you look at it on Winsipedia. When Bama wins, it's a whole lot more likely to be a rout. When Auburn wins, it is usually a close game.

I wonder what if its more fun to have an instate rival who keeps the series close, or one you pretty much own on the all-time record?
