Didn't get pitching Knaak Sunday in a meaningless game against BC. They needed to start their best in what amounted to an elimination game.

I didn't mind it. You can't pitch Knaak every game even if the other starters are suspect. Knaak would have been wasted vs Miami. Yes you would have won most likely and then got blown out against better competition. Darden had his best chance to win against a team with a losing record. He couldn't pull it off and probably won't pull it off in the regional. No need to injure a freshman who is going to be with you at least one more year to subsidize upperclassmen who will most likely move on.
