Flaming Toilet logo - history lesson

some of you are apparently too young to remember, and don't quite "get" the significance of the flaming toilet logo. It was Clemson's main logo from the early 80's to mid-90's, when it was finally "retired" just as the age of the internet began. Believe me, it was everywhere, almost as prevalent as the Tiger Paw. It was more of an academic symbol than athletics (thankfully). It was phased out and replaced by the Clemson Seal 
Anyways, here is some evidence of use.....from a poster I have celebrating the 1981 National Championship. Note what appears there on the big #1 ribbon.....
