To be fair, they were thinking about moving the time of the game, so while the "sources" may have been wrong in the end, the idea was being thought about by the ones who make the call. So while wrong, they were not unfounded.

It's just rain

You'll be fine. Let's be honest, you just wanted them to move the game because you know you'll be getting back to your place super late and you want to avoid getting as wet as you would for a game at 8. It's not a safety issue.

you know two people have already died yesterday from less rain than we are predicted to have tomorrow? sounds like a potential safety issue.
add in inebrieted folks driving home with impaired ability to determine if its safe to drive across a "wet" road.
I'm praying there are no incidents.

Point about the people who died is invalid. The fact of the matter is it's fine in Clemson and has been all week, it's not going to be nearly as bad as some of you morons seem to be reading into, and if you don't want to come just stay at home. It's that simple. I swear the people b##ching are coots, domers or bitter fans that couldn't get tickets and are still butthurt about the price. The weather is fine up here even after we've been hearing how bad the past 2 days were supposed to be.

you should stay home if driving in the rain could kill you

the rest of us will be fine. In fact, it will be much safer with so much traffic. But again, some people should stay home just like when it snows.

I'm praying the low moves out to sea and up the coast fast to spare the area from flooding rain. I'm praying our rain totals are much lower and it's not raining at game time. I pray that everybody is safe and that Clemson football team plays to its potential and both teams are injury free. I pray that we win in a big way. Thank you lord for the sunshine, rain and the worlds most beautiful campus. I pray that in Jesus name, Amen.
Go Tigers!!

They have had to days and this is the best parking plan they can come up with. If you are coming in from the west (Oconee county) and your grass lot is full why is nothing from the west. Park at Food Lion and shuttle in or something like that.

Is 8:22pm kick off the usual time at this slot?
Oct 2, 2015, 5:12 PM
|
|
In other words is it usually 8:15 and this time they are adding 7 minutes so they can cover the tigers getting into boats and then boating up outside the stadium and then taking the slip n slide down the hill?

If they had built the lot ten 5-deck parking garage that I requested....

None of this would even be a problem ?? The size of that lot would swallow all the parking from lot 5, 6, 7, 2, & more...just sayin'. They could've added the parking before all the extra additions got underway, and we've been needing it for years! The "pit" is hidden behind trees and in a valley anyways, and with roomy enough spaces then it would also be ideal for tailgating under any any weather event.... I had the idea for that back around '99 when I was graduating. ??

have ever seen. the crowd noise would be ouder than in the dark and mud and rain.. now everyone will be in the darkness driving and swimming in mud. Surely someone could have negotiated a deal with espn powers that would make sense. I have not missed but maybe 5 or 6 home games since 1974 and I think that clemson officials will very much regret not trying to get this game in prior to dark. Of course football games face the elements but there was plenty of warining this time to adjust. Bad BAD on Clemson's part. Guess Trump should have been at the table with espn instead of d rad.
