Their SEC projected finish for the up coming season . Talked to a Coot about it and obviously he thinks S.C will shock the world and play in the SEC championship Game . Everyone knows they are going to be the best team ever before the season starts .
What do you think about this projected finish ?
I know this order does not affect Clemson , just a discussion while waiting to spot the ball .

ESPN is in the conjecture business this time of year because they need something to talk about so I don't begrudge their schtick. That being said ...
I looked at the Coots schedule and honestly don't see them finishing in the top half of the SEC. Based on their schedule, the games they'll likely be favored/dogs, overall talent, and what they lost 2026 screams "mediocre".
I see 6 teams on their schedule they are arguably more talented than, and 6 games they will likely be favored to win. In order for them to win more than 6 games they are going to have to win games against conference teams they are underdogs to (and us).
I'm calling now.... they're going 6-6.

I agree , they lost a lot on Defense and teams will make Sellers throw the ball more this year .

The COOTS had 38 seniors and still only finished 9-4. Illinois showed teams how to defend Erkyll.

The coots will not finish that high. The defense was decimated by graduation, transfers, and NFL. Their bowl game showed how to defend their offense.
