Out of all the ACC schools still alive in the tournament, Duke is the team I would most want to win it all. They have good hospitals up there and the official Duke hospital helped my sister about a decade ago when she busted her head open. So even tho I’m a die hard Clemson fan I do casually cheer for Duke sports when I can. Tho if it’s Clemson vs Duke then I’m all in on Clemson. So what I’m saying is that Duke has a special place in my heart, so I def am cheering for them to win it all now that Clemson is out of the tournament.

Yea I remember our conversation and I’m also glad your wife is ok as well. With Duke looking like they are heading to Omaha then you can look at it this way…. If North Carolina wins tomorrow then your team will have the chance to personally crush your rivals hopes of a national championship and maybe win it all instead.

Heels sent them home from the final 4 a few years ago. Might as well send them home from Omaha. Got to get there first though.
You had asked me if I was UNC and UGA. I answered but it was hours afterwards so I’m not sure if you saw my answer. No UGA. Gardner Webb undergrad (dawg) and UNC grad school. I have lots of Clemson ties through family and friends. I’ve lived 12 miles from Clemson for 37 years. Also attended many baseball camps at Clemson as a kid.

Yea I saw it. I gave your post a thumbs up too. It was very interesting to hear the reasons why you’re a fan of all 3 teams (Gardner Web, UNC, and Clemson.) I opted out of college so I unfortunately can’t say I was ever a student at Clemson but my dad was a Clemson grad student there and he got me into Clemson sports when I was around 8 years old. That’s what my name means btw, I became a fan in 08 when I was 8. Now I’ve grown to be a diehard Clemson fan all because of my dad.

Family ties are strong. Nothing wrong with that. I have 2 granddaughters who just graduated from Clemson. One wanted to go to UNC but out of state is way too expensive!

Murray State lost the game, more than Duke won the game.

Duke got 7 runs from 6 hits and eight (yep, 8) walks. While Murray got 4 runs from 9 hits.
