Someone asked about this on another post so I’ll put it here for all.

It was a beautiful service. Every coach Dre ever had spoke. Started with Dabo and went all the way back to 5th and 6th grade basketball.
They told each speaker they had 2 minutes. I’m pretty sure Dabo was up there for somewhere between 10 and 15. If he ever does get run off from Clemson he has a definite option to become a minister. KJ Henry read a letter to the family that was written as if Dre had written it and it had a message for each sibling and his parents. I got the impression his mother wrote most of it but I may be wrong on that. It was a very moving moment and I can’t think of anyone better to read it than KJ. It is near the end of the service. Quite a few former Tigers on hand. I’m guessing 25-30 at least. Pallbearers included Shaq Smith, Tee Higgins, Xavier Thomas, Cornell Powell, and Kelly Bryant.

I have attached a link to the recording of the live stream for the service. Not sure how long it will stay up but I tried it a few minutes ago and it was working.

It was a celebration of his life. Lots of really positive things. But yes, losing him at 26 is a senseless tragedy.

I’m still just sick about this. So unbelievably sad for his family. From everything I’ve read he was so well-liked and admired.
