Clemson used to be linebacker U in the 80's

To early 90's. I'm thinking those days are back. We have the best linebacker corps in the country and best under Dabo. And, we may have have the highest rated linebacker commit in Clemson history. That's pretty cool for us old timers.

In the 1980's and into the 1990's Clemson was LBU... we have had some great ones, I always loved Levon Kirkland, but more recently Stephone Anthony and Isiah Simmons were fantastic.

This upcoming trio of Trotter, Carter, and Woodazz could be a great group. I will refrain from getting too excited, but with the defensive line being stacked those guys could really wreak havoc.

Anthony Simmons was better than all of those. Best Clemson LB ever.

It's a rebirth of Linebacker U, so to speak.
