So we're killing the teams we should beat. That's good to see.

Now we need to figure out a way to beat the teams we need to beat. That has seemed elusive and inconsistent this year. Very disappointed at getting shut out by USuC - not just because it was our rivalry, but because they're a Top 10 team. Thankfully we get one more shot at them, and this one at home. Hopefully they can put it all together.

Our softball team wins less against good teams than bad teams.

I believe it took some time to come together as a team this year due to all the new faces. I am very pleased with how they have been playing of late and less worried about losses early in the season.

to play together. The great thing is that no one is leaning on one player to do everything.

In the last few years, if Valerie didn't get it done at the plate and on the mound, it didn't get done. It was almost as if everyone (teammates, fans, announcers) sat back and waited on her to be the superstar. I think that pressure may have weighed heavy on her and perhaps had a lot to do with our less-than-stellar year last year. Would've loved for her to have another year playing with these talented freshman.
