CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer program continues its season-opening homestead on Friday, welcoming South Carolina to Historic Riggs Field for a 7:00 p.m. matchup on ACCNX.
Both teams are searching for their first win of the season, with the Tigers fighting to a 1-1 draw with UNCW earlier this week.
South Carolina is coming off a 2-0 loss to Gardner-Webb on Sunday, after playing Campbell to a 1-1 draw in the season opener.
This marks the 52nd game in the history of the heated rivalry, with Clemson holding the 33-17-1 edge over the team from Columbia. Another point in the 2023-24 Palmetto Series is up for grabs Friday night, with South Carolina currently holding the edge in the annual competition.
