not at the end of it. For perspective, I looked back at BAMA records during Bear Bryant’s run. They went eight years straight without a bowl victory, ending two of those years unranked, and two others ranked in the teens 20s. That almost decade long void was bookended by decades that contained multiple national championships.
This year was disappointing, but even with all of the injuries and youth, we coulda, shoulda, been playing in the ACCCG and possibly the CFP if we would have gotten average play from one important position. It certainly was not a bad year by any stretch.
Next year will be a great one…I am certainly looking forward to it and the coming decade of success.

Wow, 364 post in 17 years. Unprecedented to say the least. So quickly, without looking when were those 8 years, and more importantly what was "Bear's" first name. And yes we should have had gotten better than average play from a certain position, but how about some better play calling from our OC, or a little bit of cohesion on the "O" line. And since you seem to think that next year will be a great one, why don't you fill us in on your choice to replace one of the great DC's Clemson has seen in any decade!
