CFB’s dilemma and need in a nutshell

Aug 7, 2022, 11:06 AM

From a book I’m reading:

“Because humanity (CFB) isn’t a horse. Humanity is a breeding ground for ambition, for territorial competitors (conferences), for nations that do battle, and if the nations break down, then tribes, clans, households. We were bred for war, it’s in our genes, and the only way to stop the bloodshed is to give one man the power to subdue all the others. All we can hope for is that it be a decent enough man that the peace will be better than the wars, and last longer.”

Argument for a D1 commisioner…..
Dabo would be a strong contender.

“the only way to stop the bloodshed is to give one man the power to subdue all the others.

Russia has been trying this for about a thousand years, so far it’s not working.

Yep, just look at the ole USA

Aug 7, 2022, 11:58 AM

People are now discussing if the US should be considered a developed country or not. Pretty sad for the richest country in the world.

You can blame CRT, Biden, or Trannies if you want to but it's the money that's been intertwined in US politics that will be the fall of Rome.

I hope Dabo is not ready to leave yet. College football is alive and well as we will all see in 3-4 weeks.

Many years ago the NCAA should have had a single commissioner strictly for football, as the other college sports should probably have a different sets of standards regarding recruiting, transfers, etc. Certain rules may apply across the board, but having all the same rules for swimmers and football players does not make sense.
