be successful. As NIL/portal/etc has created parity and some slack effort, a team full of three stars that plays hard, executes, blocks, and tackles has a chance of being very successful. I have been shocked especially on the defensive side of the ball by players seemingly making "business decisions" by backing up/out of the plays over and over again. You still have to have a good QB with the type of offenses that most teams run, but now, more than ever, a football team can be really good if they play, well, football.
As it relates to Clemson and Dabo's approach, the philosophy of recruiting and maintaining players, developing a team, and creating family is certainly looking pretty strong.
Our recruiting struggles are evident, but that's not the end of the world because of the approach. The one critique with our team's approach is our numbers. We will HAVE to start signing 25+ per year to keep depth and to find good players who will become great players as they get bigger/faster/stronger and mature.
As much as folks have been saying "I'm done" with CFB, I am more interested than ever.
