I’m definitely NOT a dumper, but I’d like some analysis on why we were ineffective running the ball. I feel like the OL just not up to the task. Someone said earlier that SYR was selling out to stop the run. I couldn’t tell due to the crappy camera angles in that stadium.

I second the camera angles. Lousy.
Also I noticed that the ground game wasn’t as effective as it has been all year. Nice to see them take what the defense gave though.

I'll give you three. First great win, defense played lights out. Cade did a great job extending plays.
Now first is tackling. Our tackling is awful, flat out awful. I believe we could easily have the number 1 defense in the country if we could wrap up, take better angles, and not allow so many yards after contact. But even with the poor tackling the defense played lights out today.
2nd....clock management again was terrible. Just over a minute to go and coaches call a run up the middle? What was that about.
3rd...terrible play calling. How many times we going to call run up the middle on 1st down. If ww arm chair coaches can see it coming so does that defensive coordinator making millions on the other sideline. And please stop going ultra conservative thinking the game is in hand. That's how you lise games.
Team is getting better each week. Can't wait to run Wake out of Death Valley next week.

+1 on the poor angles. That was the first thing I noticed from the Duke game. Angles are terrible sometimes.
I also would prefer for the foot to stay on the gas until the final whistle on both sides of the ball.

Overall, it was a good performance. The defense was great and we're finally seeing a passing game.
For the negatives, I was disappointed in the run blocking and lack of offensive consistency in the second half.

Did we play well? Yes we did, we won by 17.
Could 2 dropped pick sixes have changed that? Yes.
