I’ve never seen a worst bunting team. Bunting is supposed to be easy. You give yourself up and get it down. Yet this team just can’t do this simple fundamental. Why do we even try?

Was just thinking the same thing. Also, the recent strike outs with 0 outs and men on third. You have a college scholarship, choke up, shorten the swing, quit swinging out of your shoes and put the ball in play. Love this team, tough and clutch, easy to forget all the good the past few months, just frustrating that the small things cost them a potential CWS. Not out of it yet, but it was shaping up to be a favorable super regional at the Doug.

Bunting is one of the most difficult things to perfect in baseball. Ask any player who has advanced to being a star player and he will tell you the same thing. How many great bunters can you name in MLB?
