I remember back in 2017 watching the Braves play the Mets early in the season. Travis d'Arnaud was starting at catcher for New York while Julio Tehran was the starting pitcher for Atlanta. Now it's 2024 and I'm watching Julio start a game for the Mets against the Braves while Travis catches for Atlanta. The performances of the two teams have also essentially switched places since then. Interesting how things change. Glad to see the Braves scoring of course, but I hate seeing it happen at Tehran's expense. I always liked Julio. He was a real competitor at a time when the Braves had very little to cheer about. It's been a struggle for him ever since he left Atlanta following the end of the 2019 season. I was very happy to see he made it back to the majors and I really hope he finds some success and can stick around, whether it's with the Mets or not.
