Biggest home mens tennis match in a decade at Noon vs #11 Duke

Your 16-1, 5-0 in ACC #24 Clemson men’s tennis team will face off with #11 Duke at 12 noon in Clemson. We are already projected to rise to about #20 in the new rankings but a win here wouid launch us into top 16 consideration.
Duke is 12-3, 5-0 ACC. They play a shifting lineup and they aren’t always at full strength. Like in their match on Friday vs GT, their #1 was missing. But I’ll project the lineup as if everyone will be there.
Duke top 6: (they utilized the transfer portal)
1. #72 Cooper Williams, So. New York, NY / Harvard
2. #30 Pedro Rodenas, Jr. Madrid, Spain
3. Andrej Petrovic, Gr. Oslo, Norway / Florida State
4. Sam Landau, Jr. Los Angeles, CA / Indiana
5. Connor Krug, Sr. Lakewood Ranch, FL
6. Remy Dugardin, Gr. Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, France
Alt. Gerardo Planelles Ripoll, Jr. Alicante, Spain / Arkansas
Last year we lost very close 4-3 at Duke in our best effort of the year. This will be the best team we have played so far this season. It will be a great test for the team. If we win, they hosting in the NCAA tourney certainly becomes a real possibility.
I’m hoping for a good crowd and great atmosphere for this match. I

Can't wait. Thanks for the link. Really disappointed in our ladies match yesterday to Memphis. That was heartbreaking after we won the doubles point. 4-3 final. 11-5 , 1-3 acc. Not sure how good Memphis is, but it seems like one we should have won.

Yes he had the best individual record on the team this year with just 1 loss

Mainly all on court 5 but last few matches he’s moved up to 4. This win over Krug is huge because Krug is a 5th year senior who has been playing the best tennis of his career this year. Getting wins at 2 and 3 even in some matches.
