Backup QB Situation next week

Obviously not as good as Trevor but I've seen enough from Brice to think we still have a chance if he's pressed into action.
What is the story with LSU behind Burrow?

I don't know who their QB back up is , but he's nowhere near as good as Chase Brice .

Myles Brennan. Good QB. Coach O promised him

he would see a lot of playing time this year even with Joe Burrow being the starter just to keep him from transferring. He went 21 of 37 for the year. Coach O didn't put him in the Peach Bowl until the 4th quarter. I guess being up 56-14 early in the 3rd quarter didn't seem like a big enough of a lead to get the backups in.

O says Brennan has a stronger arm and quicker release than Burrow. His performances are restricted as he is in the games late, hands off repeatedly running clock, then passes to reserves when everybody knows he will pass, and only throws safe passes. Is completing 60%, thus closer in % to TL than TL is to Joe.
Passer ratings: Burrow.............204 Lawrence.........173 Brennan...........137
I had the privilege to see him play wide open in a scrimmage w/ starters. He looked as good as Burrow that day, but of curse we know he ain't.

They don’t put championship rings on smooth hands

Incredible stats by Burrow but the biggest stat is W-L, Trevor has never lost a game and won a National Championship last year, no player in modern football has done this straight out of High School. Props to Burrow on an awesome season but no one on his team has been to the Championship game and regardless of stats LSU is taking on the champs, it won’t be easy. ??
It’s going to be fun for both fan bases, let’s get ready to rumble! Go Tigers.
