Archaeologists find ancient scroll

The Frankfort (Germany) Inscription

TDLR: Some guys found a tiny silver-foil scroll in a tomb that shows that Christianity reached ancient Germany about 50 years before we realized, maybe as early as 200ish AD.

What I figure:
Roman troops taking the religion on tour with them

What I found cool:
They CT scanned the scroll and made a 3D model of it and translated the model, so as not to damage the scroll.

What I found most interesting:
1) This scroll was purely Christian. A lot of similar scrolls are mixed-religion - appeals to both Jesus and pagan Gods. Old habits die hard, even when joined with new ideas.

2) Titus was already a Saint that early.

What perplexed me:
The writer said "Holy Holy Holy" is a Christian phrase not found till the 4th Century, though it appears in Isaiah 6:3

"And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
