He just took FAU to the Final 4, much bigger programs than Clemson will be calling. He had more success in this season at FAU than Clemson has ever had in basketball

And May has proven what in his career? His "team" (players) made a run this year. Other than this year, what else has he done as a coach?
Not defending Brownell, because as far as I'm concerned, he's been here too long based on the overall results. But, what Clemson doesn't need is a "flavor of the month" coach. Let May prove he can do it consistently or spend the money for another coach that has proven it.
