1. Alabama squeaked by almost every team they beat except Sister Sadie Hawkins Sunday School class. Maybe all this shows is that Georgia was not that good and the SEC was weak this year. They have a losing record to the ACC in OCC games.
2. What if Alabama’s QB gets hurt in practice and is out for the bowl? Does that mean the committee will go back and re-evaluate the four best teams in the country?
3. If so what criteria will they use to replace Alabama?
4. Facts are facts 13-0 is 13-0, eye test is something that has no parameters or rules to go by. The other term for eye test is assume or ### U Me.

In our 2016 championship season we won 7 games by 7 points or less and a loss to Pitt. It happens...

True. But we weren't getting compared to any other undefeated conference champs and we definitely would have never taken the spot of any other undefeated conference champ

But what if we had been, and we felt we were better and had played a tougher schedule and then got left out because of a 43-42 loss on a last second FG?

I for one never expected FSU to get left out of the playoffs with a 13-0 record and ACC champs. I get the argument in favor of Bama, but Bama's on-field record doesn't support the narrative. I don't particularly care for FSU, but I do feel that they were victims of SEC bias. In the end, it doesn't really matter what I think, no one asked and the games are set.
Now I'm just looking forward to the Gator Bowl and hoping we finish on a 5 game win streak. Gonna have to take the day off from work to see it, but it's worth it.

Don’t get all caught up in the facts.
A undefeated team got left out of the playoffs because of the eye test or the QB was hurt. But what happens when one of the four playoff teams loses their top player. Did Ohio State get left out last year because their top WR did not play.(supposedly injured)

The offense looked bad with a third team QB who did not have time to prepare. The second team QB will have a month to prepare for the Orange Bowl. And that putrid offense scored 40 against the might SEC. (LSU)
