After watching Deondre Francois in a few games this year

there is nothing that makes me think he is a great QB. He is serviceable at best. He was 9/27 today, and he throws every pass as hard as he can, he has no touch on the football.
Maybe DW4 set the bar high for young QB's, but by comparing the two, it is not even close.

with all the beating he's taken,i'm afraid he reminds me of marcus Lattimore.all of those hits are going to have a cumulative effect eventually.

And he probably won't have Cook to bail out their offense next year!

Not everyone can be all world as a freshman
He is much more than serviceable.
Hopefully his OLine learns to pass block.
He threw a lot of deep balls by design.
TigerNet assessment of other team talent is usually suspect at best.

He's a freshman. He's tough as nails. He is dangerous to face. He just beat a team that came within an eyelash of being in the playoffs. Forget the stats, how was the last pass he threw?

Tough, true freshman who runs, throws and controls his offense well. He won 10 games this year, beating a top ranked opponent in the Orange Bowl.
Seems a bit early to pronounce him as just serviceable.
The ACC seems likely to have Francois, Evans, Tribisky (spl?) coming back next year as experienced, quality QBs. We'll start and untested guy. I hope our first year player can play!
But's that's for next year. Tonight we play with DW4 at the the helm. Go Tigers!!
