catch by the Eagles receiver- they come back 10 minutes later & show that it wasn’t a legal catch after all. It looked to me like it was loose under him from the very 1st replay

Can't believe that the refs didn't call for a review considering it was a wild one-handed catch. Wouldn't have taken long to overturn the call.

Beyond college ball. The NFL has these little red flags that coaches can throw at any time for a replay. The 49ers coach did not throw it, so hopefully you can understand that nothing illegal or immoral happened here and you have no need to pull for the Evil Empire.
Such a touchy group…Help stamp out ignorant posts on here!

I hope you read my post again. I was commenting about the announcer’s erroneous gushing over the great “catch”. Nothing about the refs call or the coach not challenging. So were you crying about the other”ignorant “ posts?

Great play by Smith because he knew it was not a catch and got the Eagles to run the play quickly.

I thought the same thing live. And then the way the receiver jumped up and signaled to hurry the next play I thought it was possible he bobbled it but it took a lot of replays to see it. The niners coaches probably didn’t get to that replay quick enough. Maybe a timeout would have been a good call.
