ACCN on Spectrum in Asheville

Called my folks in Asheville this afternoon with plans to share on how to get the ACCN on their TVs. However, they said they just flipped it over to 341 about 7:15 and there is was...all bright & shiny without a single call or action on their part. Hard to imagine with all the issues everywhere else!

I was on with Spectrum twice today for over 30 minutes each time. We have the gold package and was finally told we were on the Charter legacy plan and have to move over to Spectrum to get the ACCN. We now have to exchange our three cable boxes in for new ones in order to get the ACCN. I will do it Monday so I can see the Thursday game, but I plan to switch a streaming service and then cancel Spectrum. Probably will switch to Youtube TV unless ya'll have a better suggestion.

I could tell you a looooong horror story, but bottom line is i finally got ACC this morning. the MODEM had top be replaced but not the dvr boxes. i would suggest getting a "tech visit" to change it, because he had to do some other tweaks to get it working.
