We can't (nor do I wish) to be in arms race to run a commercial side business unrelated to our core mission. But its a free country.

Zion was a lock until Coach K and his “supporters” bought him. It’s all a shame.

Just look at lamecock football recruiting. They are in on every top player we are after and getting several of them. Even with a fist full of dollars, why would any athlete in their right mind want to play in that awful city in an old, filthy stadium for a non accomplished coach? And to make it worse, in their entire football history, they have only won one league championship. I can only guess the payoff/bribes their players are getting must be substantial. I return to my original position: The NCAA should have 2 championships: One for schools which honor college traditions and the value of an education for the players. The other championship is for the Texas, OSU, UGa and FSUs of the world which simply buy their 5 star HS talent and steal good players of other teams via the "portal". Simply allow these teams to play each other and ESPN can give each one 50 million a game. Perhaps that will satisfy the avarice of their players and coaches.

One thing about USC (the fake one in Columbia) football recruiting, I don't think there is a player out there that they haven't offered. They either believe in their "shotgun" approach or hope most of those they offer have no idea what an armpit Columbia is or Carolina's dismal football history which will also be repeated in the future.
