How we feeling about this?

I think it’s pretty fair based on the last several seasons. I do (firmly) believe we will be better.

I also believe CK2 has the weapons and potential to go all the way AND win it all.

He has continued to be great in big moments. Let’s see if it all comes together!

All they have to do is make it to the championship too from the gambling point of view. You can hedge the bet and still make 1k win or lose.

the favorite is only +500. There were alot of years where Bama (or occasionally Clemson or OSU) were +200 or better. There's definitely more parity right now.

As for Clemson being 8th in the title odds.. that seems pretty fair. It's largely based on roster talent with some priors built in. We haven't been at a national title level in either talent or performance recently so it makes sense that we are still a couple tiers down. This team does have a pretty high ceiling if things come together, but I don't think we have the talent from top to bottom that a handful of teams at the top have. We need our stars to stay healthy and have huge seasons.
