The bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers that we smoked the other weekend were dangerously good.

Grilled cheese with potato bread, provolone, muenster, colby jack and gouda, with bacon. Making loaded baked potato soup. Very fast, very easy, very delicious.

Just wondering where the line is? Does it have to be meat to turn it from a grilled cheese to a melt or would tomato and avocado do it for you?
Guess this is like the "is a hotdog a sandwich" kweshion.

Only spreads and cheese allowed on the bread

Any solid fruits, veggies, meats or grains other than bread indicate a melt.
Pureed avocado with a little lime juice, salt and chili powder? It's a grilled cheese still!
A big old slice of avocado and a piece of turkey? That's a melt!

Leftover slaw - Lewis's BBQ recipe - it is a vinegar based slaw - and it is better day 2.

leftover slaw was from Spotted Pig, which has great q and sides. But they still chop the #### out of the pork too much.

Nice. I took the two leftover cooked burgers from Saturday.

Put them in the oven at 400degF for 5 minutes on the pizza stone.
Meanwhile pan cooked two slices of bacon, then put the buns in the bacon grease and toasted them on the pan.
Turned out to be a pretty good burger, about the only way I know how to reheat a burger and have it still taste almost as good as just off the grill.

As far as pizza, always freeze your leftovers, then throw in 425deg oven on a pizza stone for ~9min - delish.
