Your Updated Playoff Predictions

1. Bama 2. Ohio St (beat Michigan) 3. Clemson
4. Gets interesting. You could put Louisville if they win out. Or a 2 loss Big 10 Champion in Penn St or Wisconsin.

For the 100th time, L'ville will not jump Clemson

The Cardinals may be in the Top 4, but it will be behind Clemson.
Under no metric would the committee put L'Ville ahead of Clemson when both have same # of losses because they value head to head.
It is really that simple.

I think they might put Louisville ahead of Clemson for now and then jump Clemson ahead of them in the final rankings if/when Clemson wins the ACC Championship Game.

This prediction doesn't make any sense! If OSU gets in it's because they beat Michigan. If OSU beats Michigan than neither goes to the Big 10 championship. So you have two teams from the Big 10 in the playoffs, but neither would have played in their conference championship.

Ala Ohio Clemson Michigan 5.louisville 6. Washington
That's what I'd think for this week based on the history of it. If we can't stop the shovel pass down the road not much will matter anyhow

Clemson probably at #4.

Other than that, I really don't care.
I see the committee throwing in Lou above us for shock value/show how stupid they are. It'll be one of those aTm situations. But if Clemson wins out, they're in.
Speaking of aTm, I'm actually most fascinated with them. I'm curious to see how high they stay after a 3RD LOSS. #12 now? #15? And Ole Miss beat them. They back in the Top-25?

Don't forget, the 4th spot is reserved for the easiest team for Alabama to beat out of the top 4.

why PSU or Wisky????
Nov 13, 2016, 10:07 AM
|
|
who have they beaten
other than their inbred kin in the Big10?
if Wisky gets love over beating LSU
then people have to remember - and factor in - that Pitt was shellacking PSU
before a late comeback...

Take off my orange glasses and I see Louisville and Clemson both losing due to shaky officiating. Louisville's loss was to a good team, Clemson's loss was to a bad team. Add to that Louisville's better press and we end up out of the playoff. I hope head to head means an awful lot.

1.Bama 2.Clemson 3.Washington 4.Michigan
Like last year they will rank them in order to get high powered offense vs more pro style offense in championship game.
