Since there is still a small chance of making it to the ACC Championship game with a win over Pitt Saturday, will we be seeing the orange pants?

No, they are only for Championship Games and there is only 1 conference Championship this year. In the past it was for winning the Division Championship. They will be on when the coots visit for the State Championship! Go Tigers!!

If Saturday was a win and clinch a spot in the ACC Championship game scenario, we’d be wearing them, but it’s not, so white pants will be worn. While there are no longer divisions, the type of scenario that I just mentioned is essentially the same thing as a game with the division and punching your ticket to Charlotte at stake, which would warrant orange britches.

They'll probably wear them against SC but I'd tell this team I was thinking about leaving them in storage. I'd make them ask to wear them.

They weren't originally intended for championship games "only". Danny Ford introduced them for any big game worthy not just championships.
