I posted this yesterday with the comment that the NCAA has finally found their gonads. No one happier than me!
I was reading this article in the "Observer" yesterday morning at breakfast when my friend the retired judge sat down beside me. He ignored me for a long while but being the kind, wonderful person that I am, I didn't mention it to this loyal tarheel! Wonder if he will show up today! lol
Hoping for the 'kiss of death'..........

Any rational person , UNC lover or alum or not ...could see that this mess was known to the coaches and known to the entire athletic department and that it was carried on for the better part of 2 decades .
Cheating would have continued , had that nice lady who worked in their midst not come forward and told the Observer what she knew .
UNC should get a similar penalty to that which was given to SMU in the early 1980's , and I hope that the NCAA brings the house down up there .

that I never, EVER have to listen to a UNC fan talk about the "Carolina Way" again.
It warms my heart now to hear them use the "everybody does it" defense. Because before they got caught, they would always say "everybody does it, except us".
What a bunch of condescending jackholes...
