Morris sounds a lot like Kevin Steele with his excuses.

Sure sounds a lot like Steele. I didn't trust Deshaun to be under center. But he trusted a back up center who didn't start to snap a shotgun snap at the goal line with Eddie Goldman and two others lined up right in his face. Morris lacks situational play calling skills and our offense struggles at goal line because the back of the end zone becomes 12th defender. Works in high school and against high school talent that is in college but not against college level talent. Time for coach Scott to take it over.

Very intelligent observation. NOT. Obviously you are better at coaching. Is he perfect no, but no coach is.

very bad comparison

The back up center is back up. . Back up. . Back up. Yes Morris didn't trust him which is why he is back up. Back up. Second string. Back up. When the starter left Morris had no choice but to put in the back up.

Dumb post. You play who you have and you face adversity with who you have. Should we have used our 3rd string center ? Maybe Charone Peake could have snapped the football down there. It was a badly executed play no doubt , but Chad Morris isn't to blame any more for our inability to execute than you are. Maybe you should have snapped it.

But he is to blame for the shotgun formation. Never use that when you only need inches. It defies logic.

Am I the only one who saw Watson go under center

the very first play in OT...I remember thinking Oh great! Now lets go under center for the first time tonight! Morris is a fast talking bull$hitter just like steele. Can't trust a thing he says...remember this is the same guy that has been telling us for 5 months that cole and Dj deserve to start and give us the best chances. Well maybe some of you will soak up this drivel...but you can't blow smoke up my #### and tell me the fog is setting in!

Give me a break. We run yardage from the gun all the time. And its not like he put in a guy who had never long snapped before. THE CENTER MADE A MISTAKE!!!!!
If we make the FG after that bad snap, it is irrelevant. If we make the 1st FG, the bad snap is irrelevant. If we don't fumble in the last 1:30, the bad snap is irrelevant. If we convert the 4th in OT, the bad snap might have been irrelevant.

I agree with your analysis and can't help but laugh. I've been talking about the Tiger's lack of situational coaching on this site and mocked beyond belief. Most of these people who think they are so darn smart have no clue what your talking about. How about we start a seminar that talks about game coaching from start to finish of a game. One guy on here talked about what D were the tigers in when FSU went over the top. Don't know and could care less. They needed to provide a freshman (who played a great game) some help by doubling Greene. We led by 7 and there was 6:30 left in the game. It ain't rocket science to figure out that they were going to go long because the odds were against them to drive down the field. After game BV admitted as much.
