ACC Network still not showing up on my satellite TV.

Picked up the kit last week, installed it myself following all instructions, but I’m already experiencing problems. In fact, I can only pick up like 5 channels. Anyone else having this problem with their satellite receiver?

That hardware is not compatible. You must attach that antenna to a Plymouth Satellite, it won’t work attached to a shack.

That dish is definitely not rotarized. Therefore the circuit remains open.

Apparently, nobody told you to bend the aluminum crossmembers fully until the ends touched...this will form a complete circuit to give you 360 degree reception.
Just ignore these other smart aleck wise guys, they think there sooo cute.
Glad to help you out.... your welcome!

Three things: 1) Have you tried UHF? There may be a few more channels there you're missing. 2) Have you tried to rotate it 180 degrees? There may be some channels from another satellite you're missing. 3) If all else fails, try wrapping some aluminum foil around it. That might focus some weaker satellite signals onto the receiver and it usually helps.

ago I had a high gain antenna on my house in North Providence (South Carolina, North Providence is a suburb of Providence, which itself consists of an abandoned store and a church), and was amazed at how many over the air channels I was getting. All the networks from three cities around me, Cootlumbia, Charleston, and Augusta, all High def clear as a bell. As well as a bunch of UHF ones. The only time it actually came in handy was during pro football season, as I could choose between the Panthers and Falcons games. (Easy choice, I hate the Panthers.) Nowadays in Orangeburg, am tethered to Spectrum, so I was glad to see them get on board with the ACC Network.

I have the identical kit and have been told by my coot neighbor that he has it from a reliable source that it actually won't be available until the 29th due to technical problems. PATIENCE!
