This wasnt about breaking ranks. The MAGA Tepubs purposely putting some untealistic bs out there they new had zero chance. It was a political stunt. The MAGA people didn't want it to pass. Just a stunt. As far as working with the other side, the Dems just tried to, but the MAGA people shut it down. There already was situation where the regular people worked together. The nutty MAGA people will never work with anyone, not even within their own party.

Try accountability. The Biden Administration has not been following the existing immigration laws, why would they start following any changes in a new bill? There's always a chance some of the existing laws will be eased into place to slow down immigration between July and September to get better reports in time for some votes. But then again, maybe not.

There was a lot more to that Bill than just enhancing immigration laws and providing resources to the Border Patrol. Why did Pocahontas vote No and Schumer change his vote to No after voting Yes the first time? Just a rhetorical question because who knows what goes on in their minds.
