Not really. Is Stetson Bennett considered a 1st rounder? I agree that Stetson won't be anything in the NFL, but I don't think he is expected to do well in the NFL.

QBR 2022, 86.3, 6th in the country.
QBR 2021, 86.7, 3rd in the country.
Stetson made great decisions these last two seasons. He played well in the pocket and delivered ball on time and on target.
2022, 68.3%, 27 TDs, 4127 yds, 6th in the country.
2021, 65.4%, 29 TDs, 2862 yds, 44th in the country (but didn't play for the entire season)
Bennet played on an elite level, no doubt. Sure, there's a great supporting cast, but it takes the QB performing at a high level to make it work.
Look, I don't like UGa either. But this comparison to Johnny Manziel and saying Bennet was only good because of others, that stuff is silly.

Manziel went 1st overall, it was one of the worst draft picks of all time, but nonetheless it was because he won the Heisman and actually had a very good college career. Stetson won 2 Championships, but he’s looked at as sort of a “Hunter Renfrow” type of guy.
