The football team finished the season with four dominating wins, and all y’all can do is whine about the transfer portal. Get a clue no team has won a championship depending on the portal. We have a good recruiting class coming in and we already have a good number of commits for the 2025 cycle. Your negativity is not going to hold this team down.

Clemson athletics is roaring like the mighty Tigers we are. The girls soccer team made it to the final four. Men’s basketball is playing its best basketball of the brownell era. The girls basketball team is starting to improve. The men’s soccer team won the national championship. The track team who won a conference title last season is starting its indoor season. Baseball and softball is right around the corner.

I agree with you tigersrule79. I don’t believe the answers are in the transfer portal, or NIL. Kids need someone who really cares looking out for these kids as the vultures circle programs trying to poach their talent. Some using unethical methods.

They need someone to guide them through recruiting and the TP the times coaches crawl through the sewer with their recruiting tactics. To many kids are being confused by all the flash and glitter.

If the TP is so special why are 50% of those who enter the TP are still looking to get another scholarship offer. Some of those kids will never receive their college degree or ever play another down of football.

Tony Elliott (Great man and very good coach) spoke at an event I attended. TE said the number one focus when talking with recruits and their can’t was where do you see yourself when you are 30 to 35. Dabo’s approach and ideas were different and we got a lot of great talent. Now kids and many parents are mainly focused on $$$$$$, their kids exposure, TV markets and playing time. Education and personal growth use to be really important. This based on articles by players like TL, DW, Tee Higgins, Mike Williams , CJ Spiller, James Davis and most others who played for TB and Dabo. Being a Tiger really meant something. I am not sure I agree with the philosophy “ Once a Tiger always a Tiger”. To me this phrase does not mean what it use to. They played for the love of the game, received a great education and some were fortunate to make it in the NFL. But those who did not has represented Clemson with Class.

I was impressed by Will Shipley’s parents who convinced him transferring from Clemson was not an option after all that Clemson had done for WS. I wish more families and recruits felt this way. If they did Clemson would not be losing some of these top recruits.

Unfortunately we live in times where kids are lured to school because of the flash and the cash.

Before all of this chaos in college athletics Dabo had the answers most parents wanted to hear and many recruits. Dabo’s philosophy was to take an immature kid and mold him into a good man, good husband, good father and a good productive citizen. Someone who would be productive on and off the field. A student athlete who wanted an excellent education from an excellent University-Clemson.

Dabo and his staff has a much more difficult job. It’s unfortunate that some coaches are recruiting under the philosophy “Winning is not the only thing it’s everything “.
I am “All In” with Clemson and Dabo and would buy all available stock. I believe Dabo is working harder than ever to get back into the top 5 !

Kick A$$ Dabo let them know Clemson has a Huge Chip on their shoulder and no one is going to knock it off. Let them know Clemson is back on trail to Elite Status.
