how to coach ... or does he just not have great players right now?

Recruiting determines 80-90% of success in the college basketball.

A great team just has to have great players. Period.

Clemson AD needs to concentrate on ways to coax great players to Clemson. Forget stressing over facilities and raising coaches salaries. Get great players and those things suddenly don’t matter nearly as much.

"unnecessary confusion."

There should be a law that requires "WOMENS" in all caps to be before all references to women's basketball.

Yikes. you had better do your home work. At 11-8 they are 6th in the conference.

Yeah,they are a lot better than last. They are having an off year for Virginia standards though. Lost a lot from last year, and couple of young guys are still probably a year away from being really good. Also, have some a top 12 recruiting class coming next season.

Knowing what to do from the bench is a lot easier with great players on the floor.

I was certainly wrong about the standings, but I stand by my opinion on salaries, facilities vs just getting great players via recruiting.

I realize the coach *is* the recruiter and getting a guy in place who can recruit to Clemson is going to be a challenge if and when the decision is made.

Just don’t think is necessarily a salary or a facilities thing with the “right” coach for Clemson.
