Inside the Closet: An Update

I know you all were waiting on pens and needles for an update, so here we are. The closet is done. It's not perfect, but I love it. Now, here is where I last left you:












That is Jimmy attempting to build the wall module as one piece, only to discover that rotating it within the closet is not possible because, as it turns out, when you rotate a 2D object, the length extends. So I had to tear it apart, and try a different approach. The solution was building the wall-to-wall units as individual modules, and piece them in. Great success. And to account for the wall joint itself not being a perfect 90 degrees, I build an "anchor" module and instead of losing it to dead space, turned it into functional voids.















Here is everything loaded back in. My favorite parts are the dedicated cubbies for the luggage, and the cubby for the wife's wrapping paper collection. The wrapping paper was actually the impetus for the closet reno. I was tired of that crap falling all over the place.
