Question about Nuk

Nov 9, 2017, 9:45 AM

Wasn’t Clemson one of the only schools to actually offer him as a receiver?

I know he played both ways in hs and I thought there were a bunch of schools that just wanted him to play dB in college.

On a side note I’m still not sure I understand where he is coming from. He definitely wasn’t second fiddle his junior year at clemson when he had 1500 yds and almost 20 tds. He was also the first option his freshman year once he got to play. Hopefully this relationship can be mended in the future

Yes we were.

He was THE guy his last year, but says he left bc he felt like he was playing second fiddle to Sammy. He's a primadonna. He's proven that with how he can't wait to be offended by something and play the sad victim.

He's gotten into a crowd of malcontents in the NFL.

He's on a bad path.

Re: Question about Nuk- what I remember about his

Nov 9, 2017, 9:55 AM

recruitment and arrival was it was up for grabs whether he would play wr or cb. I always wonder how he would have been as corner and could he have covered Nuk the wr.

he was a four star WR coming out of HS, he has stated he was born a Tiger....

His comments are about the way college athletics works not on Clemson, for those whose IQ level is too low or got hooked emotionally by the mods

His comments were on how college athletics operates, not anything negative against Clemson..

So learn what nuance is. It is pretty safe to say Deandre Hopkins IQ is much higher than the average Tnet poster.

His IQ may be higher than some, but he needs to look up what a Ponzi Scheme is because that definitely doesn't apply to a college.

Also, those college athletics are what allows him to make $81 million over the next 5 years, so boo hoo if he had to play for "free" for three years to obtain that.

I'm a little stuck on...

'one of the only,' and pluralizing schools. Give an old country boy a little help?

Re: Question about Nuk

Nuk simply has a short and distorted memory. His nfl contract and achievements have gone to his head and in typical distorted fashion, he thinks he should have done better in college. He is thinking back in a reminiscent sort of way, as a lot of us do, and he thinks he could have run faster, jumped higher, and scored more touchdowns if he just would have been targeted more. Nuk can be seen in very recent interviews speakig fondly of Clemson. Seems like I even remember him being introduced on field at a Clemson home game about 3 or 4 years ago with a sizeable monetary donation to Clemson.
