COMMITMENT...(slightly long)

COMMITMENT:
Coming to every home game (and some bowl games), rain or shine, win or lose, to see my Tigers play;
Saving and using my vacation so I can come to the games;
Having a mediocre job, yet giving thousand of dollars to IPTAY each year;
Paying an extra thousand or two for season tickets;
Paying another several hundred each game for gas, a place to stay, food, tailgating expenses, etc.
A couple of 60 year olds sitting in extreme heat, occasional cold, through rain and any other adverse condition, from 30 minutes before the game until the end, just to see you play.
So, when recruits say you "commit" to Clemson, just realize there will be 84,000 other fans out there every Saturday that have made these same types of commitments as mentioned above. We have paid for your education, for the facilities you'll enjoy for the next 4 years, for all the perks and notoriety that comes with being a Clemson Football Player, for your chance to become a professional athlete and make millions of dollars a year. We were here long before you came, we'll be here long after you leave, and we hope you "commit" to Clemson so we can be here and watch you grow as an athlete and an individual.
Yes, we can be immature and get mad when you commit and then want to go somewhere else. Yes, we can't understand why ANYONE would go any place other than Clemson. Why, because we have been here, we have gone to school here, we have lived the Clemson life.
Commit! Go "ALL IN"!!! Then you will understand why we are so passionate about Clemson and football! Once you come here, you will understand what "commitment" means too. You will understand CLEMSON!
GO TIGERS!!! ALL IN, ALL THE TIME!!!
