Clemson Offense
1. Complete passes over the middle of the field.
2. On third and short, QB under center.
3. Keep moving the chains to keep the defense off of the field.
Clemson Defense
1. Return of the war daddies up front. Blitzes, pressure, and SACKS.
2. More 3 and outs
3. No long runs or deep pass completions

One of the main things I am hoping will be improved. Cade rushed for -100 yards against Tennessee while running backwards .

1. QB seeing the field and going through progressions, not locking in on one WR pre-snap
2. WRs getting separation
3. WRs blocking on screens and downfield in run plays
Defense:
1. CB opposite of Wiggins playing sound technique
2. DL getting consistent pressure on QB

Offense
1. Spread the field and get ball to running backs in space.
2. Ship and Mafah on the field at the same time more. See #1.
3. Downfield passing game, including the middle of the field
4. Keep Cade from scrambling backwards
Defense
1. Sacks. Lots of them. Blitzing coming from everywhere.
2. Create turnovers
3. Limit big plays
4. Don’t give up more than 10 points. Bonus if their only TD comes in garbage time.

You all nailed it. I'm not as concerned about Cade running backwards as I am about him running straight to the sidelines & out of bounds. Drives me crazy. A HS play that never works. I'll believe we're "throwing over the middle" when I see it. I believe that's a Dabo thing. If we DON'T see it, I'll assume that Dabo is still calling the shots for the offense. I think the OL is ok IF the new LT holds up. I don't see any particular value in 2 backs vs 1 back but either way is ok with me. My main questions will be 1) Do we have any receivers? 2) Do we have any DEs? 3) Do we have a LT?

I like the 2 backs because it creates confusion for the defense trying to decide who to key on and they can spread the field by going in different directions. It should create more opportunities in space.

Offense - pass better, go faster.
Defense - be tougher, tackle better.
Coaches - be more proactive.
