On the KO return to start the winning drive...

Jan 25, 2017, 7:23 PM

Who was the last lead blocker in front that took out the kicker as CJ Fuller was being shoestring tackled from behind ?

No Peeky.

It was not Muse as someone said-----The last blocker was DRad's son #41 nice block and was in play. I thought the penalty on him was unjust.

radakovich #41

it. Also he had a penalty called against him earlier in the game that negated a decent gain. I thought he do a good job on Special Teams all game long.

Bit OT, but if Fuller breaks that return, do we LOSE?

Jan 25, 2017, 8:27 PM

Sure, we go ahead but then Bama has ample time left to milk the clock on their own game winning last second TD drive.

I almost cried at the time when Fuller came so close, but got shoe-stringed at the 33, but in retrospect, I think that tackle might have saved the game for Clemson.

This past season, I would much rather have Deshaun on the field driving for the winning points than have the defense on the field trying to make a big stop against The Tide in crunch time.

Sort of gives you pause . Had Fuller have gone the distance it would've been 35-31 with about 1:50 on the clock.
Our defense was gassed , as evidenced by the last Tide drive .
I am glad he was tackled , because it set up the greatest finish in National Championship game history , in my honest opinion.
1 second left .
1 second.

LSU game. If you would have been given the possibility of one of two outcomes BEFORE the play. There is no way you would have picked the one that happened. For example, giving up the td on the first play of the second half. Score, or 3 yard gain. If he gets 3 yards and it turns into a 2 minute drive, we have no time at the end. We score at the end, down 1, go for 2. If you opt to make the 2 point conversion, there is NO 4TH and 16, we punt: whereby LSU gets it at the 50......For all the breaks that went against Bowden, I swear, they all seem to go for Dabo.

... Was a God send as well. The could have used up the entire clock right there. No way around it... we we're supposed to win that game.
