we only have 2 players retuning that have started before.
maybe they can't be any worse (than last year without price) and these guys actually push off the ball.....
but i would think its still a concern

specifically, the OTs. We're solid as a brick $#!+ house from LG to RG. And yes, I'm calling out the OTs.
To be fair, Brandon Thomas is not a real OT. He's a great OG. So, if he's not up to the task, it's not on him.

Anything from CK is going to be over-dramatized. He is still adjusting to d-1 college football, but it's got to be a little exciting hearing it from Sammy also. Maybe, CK knows what he is talking about because i've seen it posted from other players too.

some of that comes from not yet having seen the reality that - all those great players we have that he has been watching in practice? - other teams have those same guys. And probably a few times this year, more of them.
But you dont win if you dont believe it, so I'm with him on that.

It may mean nothing but a few days ago I sat down with a Clemson OL's father and had a discussion about Clemson football and he told me that Kelly was the real deal! I don't have any idea what he is referring to with this statement but apparently his son is 'in the know'. We shall see. I, for one, think that Clemson football is light years away from where it was three years ago.

I agree so hopefully maybe by fsu we will be better at OT with 3 games under their belts and the coaches wouldnt ask Brandon to do something if they didnt think he could be successful at it.

The players and fans both are excited about this year. I know I am. And I feel like a little kid at Christmas time when I hear about a recruit either giving us his verbal or that a recruit is coming to visit. The dynasty that RN speaks of. Do you guys realize why the gators were so good for so long? It is because they had made a name for themselves. Recruits wanted to play there. They had 2nd strings better than other teams' 1st. I honestly believe Clemson is getting to that point. When you get to a point where you have verbals from RN, Dorian, Elijah Daniel, Dalvin Cook, Oglesby, Boulware, Watson, etc. Man! That list could go on an on. Anyway, when you have those guys' verbals and are in the lead for guys like M. Adams, Fuller, Vonn Bell, Hargreaves, Dye, Green, etc ( could keep going again) then something is going on. Is it the hills? Is it Dabo? Is it the team of coaches he has surrounded himself with? Or is it that guys see that something special is about to freaking erupt down in Death Valley? I think OT is a combination of all, but I am pumped and can't wait to see what happens, how far we go, who we beat, who we slaughter, when the tides turn and put the coots back where they belong, and start dominating. It is about to get real!! So come on down Fuller, Adams, Crowder, Green, and whoever else we have room for. Grab ahold of something and get ready to ride!!
