SCAR.... just a thought. Flame away... I know you are.
Boyd has heisman hype but is 0-2 against those boys. I hope if he is a front runner this yr he doesn't fall on his face like the last two games against them.

Boyd was given poor game plan against usuc

especially in 2nd half where Morris tried to keep him in the pocket - the worst strategy against fast edge rushers. To his credit, Morris changed offense for lsuc, and looked what happened! Wait till next year - Now we know how to beat usuc and Boyd has the experience and confidence of beating a team that is very similar to usuc and who beat usuc!

Can't argue with his performance on the whole which has been amazing, but for two years in a row there have been some head-scratching game plans for the USuCk game IMO.

I hate to say it but clowney is in Boyd's head. We must put two guys on that thug every play next year. He is just that good of a player...take a play off and he will burn you...example Tenn, Michigan and of course us. Just saying...

to an extent.clemson has faced numerous first or second round d.end hopefuls this year (or will be when draft eligible), the 2 from lsu, fsu had 1 or 2, usuc has clowney and maybe 1 more, auburn had 1, maybe a 2nd, and there are probably more that will be drafted. i don't think just 1 person got to him,it is a combination of players, scheme, protection break-downs and coverage, etc., and our play calling could have helped. i'm of the opinion that clemson, as a team, is pushing a little too hard, trying to be perfect and thinking about them too much, instead of just playing the game and executing the way they can. beating teams that have beaten usuc (in the same season)proves that it is more than just talent or coaching.
