Feels like it had been forever since the Tigers have beaten Duke in men's Tennis,heck I can't remember the last time it was to tell you the truth

But that was not their strongest team.

But yeah it’s always rough vs them. Even in the Kriese days we were often #2 in the ACC behind Duke who had our number

Great effort but means nothing for the rankings. In the ITA rankings a 4-3 loss is the same as 7-0

And also Azuma led 6-4 3-1 on court 1 before giving away the lead.

Duke is the 3rd highest ranked team in the ACC so if we can keep this effort up for the whole conference slate we can get some wins over the middle teams for sure.

Yeah, I know coming up short like that is always going to sting, especially when it looked like the Tigers had a great opportunity to win. But it’s still encouraging seeing an effort that competitive against a team as good Duke. If Clemson can continue playing at that level, this team may be able to make some real progress this year.
