We ruch the field every Sat. BECAUSE WE CAN. SEC doesn't allow it because they know there fans cant handle the responisibility. Somebody would screw it up!!!

I have the same problem at work with Coot fans. I've tried to explain several times that our fans go on the field after every game, win or lose. It's a great tradition and the kids just love to meet the players and talk with them after the game. I then said the SEC won't allow that because someone might get stabbed or shot. He then said, "Well, fans don't belong on the field". I then asked wouldn't it be a great experience for his 5 year old son to go on the field after a Carolina game, then there was this strange look on his face, and then silence... (and I'm sure the thought of, "D@mn, I wish we did that at Carolina").

I agree. I have the same problem with SC fans at work. They make fun of Clemson for doing it but I know deep down inside they wish SC had the same tradition

I will always hold the memories of having a catch with my son after a Clemson game close to my heart. He is fifteen now and would rather go down on the field with his friends and try to meet some players. I still manage to sneak in a toss or two, but now its more for me than for him.

Every Coot parent needs to be honest with themselves , would you really let your child run onto a field scattered with Sakerlina football players ?
There are some places children shouldn't visit , and around SEC football players is right up there with the inside of an active meth lab , a times square peep show booth and the basement at John Wayne Gacy's house .
