an intro price. Then they jack it up on you. They're betting maybe 4 out of 10 will not care enough to make the call. $$$$$ For the others, they will keep them on a promo and then try again. EVERY....FREAKING......YEAR.
My highest hourly pay comes each year when I negotiate Time Warner from $240 a month to $160 a month for a year. 30 minute call saves $960 a year. 30 minute call I make roughly $430 an hour.

gone and price up to 140. In 10 minutes it'll be 75 again and maybe even a credit for this month since I forgot to call. They did that once.

electronically. Don't give them your credit card. They will automatically charge you whenever it comes time to extending your commitment - even if you don't want them to and then you will have to fight them to get your money back. A major pain.
